On Monday Share market closed on green note. The 50-share Nifty index slipped below its crucial psychological level of 5,700. The index closed at 5,685.40, up 7.50 points, or 0.13 percent.
The Nifty touched a high of 5,721.00 and a low of 5,661.50 today and S&P BSE Sensex ended at 19,182.26, up 18.24 points, or 0.10 per cent. It touched a high of 19,306.51 and a low of 19,141.68. The S&P BSE midcap index closed 0.48 per cent higher, while BSE S&P smallcap index gained 0.42 per cent.
