Indian Stock Market Tips & Buy, Sell Stock Calls For Today 27 Aug 13

The S&P BSE Sensex gained momentum for third straight session and closed above 18,500 mark led by gains in power, capital goods and technology stocks. The 30-share index ended at 18,558.13, up 38.69 points or 0.21 percent, it touched a high of 18,728.19 and a low of 18,488.93 and Nifty ended at 5,476.50, up 4.75 points or 0.09 percent, it touched a high of 5,528.70 and a low of 5,454.45 in trade today.

The S&P BSE Midcap Index was up 0.60 percent and the S&P BSE Smallcap Index gained 0.82 percent.
