Oil & Gas sector witnessed long build-up as stocks HINDOILEXP, HINPETRO, IGL, IOC, OIL, ONGC and RELIANCE were up by 2.9%, 4.4%, 6.6%, 3.3%, 1.7%, 4% and 2% respectively.
>> Metals sector was up by 1.8% as stocks HINDALCO, HINDZINC, JSWSTEEL, SAIL, SESAGOA, STER, TATASTEEL and WELCORP were up by 1.5%, 2.5%, 2.3%, 3.4%, 2.8%, 3.2%, 3.4% and 5.2% respectively.
>> Cement sector led by ACC, CENTURYTEX, GRASIM, INDIACEM and JPASSOCIAT was up by 1.3%.
>> Automobile, Banking, Capital Goods and Technology sector witnessed maximum OI activity.
