Market opened in a positive note.

Indian markets opened on a positive note Thursday after profit booking in previous session. The upmove was led by gains in pharma, realty and technology stocks while capital goods, banks and auto stocks slipped lower.

National Stock Exchange’s Nifty was at 6,089.45 , up 9.65 points or 0.16 per cent. The broader index touched a high of 6116.15 and low of 6081.20 in opening trade.

Bombay Stock Exchange’s Sensex was at 20328.03, up 26.93 points or 0.13 per cent. The 30-share index touched a high of 20425.85 and low of 20301.48 in trade so far.

BSE Midcap Index was up 0.19 per cent and BSE Smallcap Index moved 0.25 per cent higher.
