20,000 during the early trade, but plunged sharply thereafter to hit the
day’s low of 19,778 and high of 20,056.
BSE Sensex has closed provisionally at 19,997.45 (up 0.36 points) and the NSE has closed provisionally at 5,913.15 (up 16.40 points). Overall market sentiment was positive. Auto stocks were mixed.
