Today the share markets closed flat. The Sensex closed at 17105, up 2 points from its previous close, and the Nifty shut shop at 5193, down 4 points. The worst performers were realty, auto and power. Capital goods and oil & gas, too, lost significantly while healthcare, FMCG and consumer durables closed positive.
The top Nifty gainers were Wipro, Dr Reddy's, ITC and Sun Pharma while the biggest losers were Reliance Infra, BPCL, Bajaj Auto and Axis Bank.
