European markets decline on growth concerns

European markets edged down today tracking weakness on U.S. markets as worries persisted over the tempo of economic recovery following weak labour data.

The U.K.'s FTSE 100 is trading down 0.42% to 5524.40 and Germany's DAX declined 0.32% to 6165.14. The France's CAC-40 is also trading down 0.32% to 3698.28.

Miners were the top decliners, with investors selling shares on growth concerns. BHP Billiton (BLT.L), Anglo American, Antofagasta, Rio Tinto, Xstrata and ENRC fell 0.9 to 2.6%.
