The 30-share index ended at 19,552.49, down 57.99 points or 0.30 percent, it touched a high of 19,742.70 and a low of 19,522.47 and Nifty closed at 5,921.45, down 17.85 points or 0.30 percent, it touched a high of 5,981.60 and a low of 5,910.25 in trade today. The S&P BSE Midcap Index was up 0.09 per cent and the S&P BSE Smallcap Index gained 0.35 percent.
