Indian market is again closed on a Volatile note. Indian equities recovered from the day's low and are trading near their previous closing values. The 30-share BSE Sensex was down 31 points at 15,833.79 and the 50-share NSE Nifty was down nine points at 4,763.20.
TOP GAINERS on todays Share Trading Session:
Jaiprakash Associates has maintained its top position in the buying list - rallied 5%
ITC, HDFC and L&T were leading the markets, gaining 1.5-2.5%. Infosys, TCS, Tata Motors, ONGC, Bajaj Auto and NTPC were up 0.4-0.9%.
Among others, M&M, Sun Pharma, DLF, Tata Steel and Coal India surged 1.5-3%.
Losers in todays Share Trading session:
SBI and ICICI Bank plunged 3-3.5%. Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, HUL, JSPL, Wipro, BHEL and Wipro were down 0.5-1.5%.
The BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices slipped 0.5% each. About 532 shares advanced as against 856 shares declined on NSE. (By Trading partner Moneycontrol)
