It's an upbeat start for the Indian stock market this morning, with the bulls storming the ring at the stroke of the opening bell. The BSE benchmark Sensex zoomed to 23,410.36 and is currently up 326.50 points or 1.44% at 23,320.73. The Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange, which vaulted to 6975.70, is now up 84.70 points or 1.23% at 6943.50
With the bulls continuing from where they left last Friday, amid hopes the election results due this week will be favourable to the market, stocks got off to a rousing start on the Indian bourses this morning, driving the key indices up to new all-time highs in a flash.
