Todays Market Updates 12th Sept :
The markets closed with significant losses today and all sectoral indices closed negative. The Sensex closed at 16497 (provisional), down 370 points from its previous close, and the Nifty closed at 4942 (provisional), down 117 points. The CNX Midcap index was down 2.5% and the BSE Smallcap index lost 1.8%. The market breadth was negative with advances at 313 against declines of 1142 on the NSE.
