It's a sluggish start for the Indian stock market this morning with investors digesting a mixed batch of earnings results. A weak trend in Asian markets following a mixed close on Wall Street overnight and a below normal monsoon forecast from the Indian Meteorological Department are weighing on sentiment to an extent.

Bank stocks have advanced in early trades. A few stocks from realty and healthcare sectors are also notably higher. Capital goods, oil and FMCG stocks are weak, while information technology, power and metal stocks are mostly flat.
